• Why can’t I see the video play?

  You should download the latest version of flash here.

• Where’s my video?

  It takes 3-5 days for loaded videos to go up onto the site.

• How long should my video be?

  Just so we don’t bore everyone, keep it under 90 seconds or 1½ - 2mins.

• What stuff should I film or photograph?

  Anything that you feel is a good example or interpretation of the 3 main categories we are focusing on: Family, Romance and Adventure.

• What stuff should I not Film?

  You can film what you like but if you wouldn’t show it to your kids or friends don’t put it on our site.

• What else should I put with my video?

  Depends how much you want to show off your trip or what you did.  The more information you toss in when you upload your video (like tags, description, location etc.) the more people will see it.

• How good does my camera have to be?

  Well pretty basic actually.  You don’t need flash gear to produce an engaging piece of footage.

• If I want more information about an experience I’ve seen, can I contact the maker of the video?

  It depends if they have allowed contact from the Cook Islands community.  If so simply click on the little blue envelope next to their user name.  Cook Islands will then send an email on your behalf and provide your email for them to reply or you can ask us at info@cookislandsexperience.com.
